According to the English dictionary, the Face is the part of the body that is located at the front part of a person's head which is always from the forehead to the chin. On the face, you can identify the nose, eyes and mouth. In this article, I will discuss extensively, face washing errors we do everyday as individuals.
One thing many people don't know is that the skin on the face is a thin one, and it has to be treated with carefulness. Many people just get into the bathroom, scrub, pour water on their face and body, then leave. When. washing the face, it is advised that you do that lightly with your finger tips. Don't rush, do it gently.
The following are the face washing errors we do everyday. They are:
1. Using a dirty towel:
Many people use their towels for months without getting them washed. It is painful to see a grown adult using a towel that is very dirty to clean the body. One thing about a dirty towel is that if you use it to rub your face, it can cause bacterias, which will connect to your pores and encourage pimples and acne. Some people might even be having some cracks on their face. This is as a result of a dirty towel. Always try to wash your towel every end of the week. Because it is this same towel you will use to clean your legs and buttocks.
2. Sponge/Pressure:
This is another face washing error we do everyday. Like I said earlier, the face has a very thin skin. So, it will be wrong to use sponge or anything coarse on the face. Also, do not apply too much pressure when you are washing your face. The following can happen, when you use sponge or pressure on your face. They are; irritation, redness of the face, cracking, dryness etc. What actually causes cracking on a human face is when there is overproduction of oil on the face.
3. Make up:
This is actually common among the female gender. Some ladies don't even clean their make up before sleeping. Some don't clean it off very well. One effect of make up, is that its consistent use makes you age your face seven times faster. Before you sleep in the night, take time to wash of the make up from your face. You can also use a makeup remover , but one of the best alternative is almond or coconut oil. If you want to use the oil, apply on your face and let it settle on the pores. After some minutes, clean it with a cloth and continue with the cleaning routine.
4. The use of Caffeine:
Caffeine actually has side effects, which causes spots on your skin. It is so deadly to your face that it causes a dull complexion, wrinkles, facial lines etc. Apart from your face, caffeine can make your skin dehydrated. You have to actually reduce the consumption of caffeine as an individual. Caffeine can also interfere with your sleep, you won't be able to get a proper sleep. It also prevents your skin from regenerating. Just watch what you consume.
