27-year-old John Aipoh who is the boyfriend of 24-year-old Precious Ikpikhumi, a student of the institute of Health Technology, University of Benin Teaching Hospital, has been rounded up for the alleged murder of the lady because she ended their relationship.

It was received that they have been dating
for four years. Precious who was allegedly murdered was said to have always
want to end the relationship.
In a voice message that Precious sent to
one of her friends in school, she was heard saying that she is scared of John
ad he might kill her for calling off their relationship. The final year student
told her friend in the voice message that John should be held responsible
for whatever happened to her.
After she called off the relationship, it
was received that she went into hiding. However, she was traced by John and
waylaid on the 1st of May, 2022, while she was on her way to church.

A search was launched for John following
her disappearance. He was actually found and has been arrested by the Police.
During the interrogation, John, the boyfriend,
was actually found with the phone of the deceased, confessed to the crime
saying that he waylaid her, while she was going to the church. He revealed that
he took her to an uncompleted building, strangled her with her headgear out of
anger for ending their relationship.
After his interrogation, he led the law
enforcement agency to where the lifeless body of precious was found.
